MR. BENJAMIN OVIO-ONOWEYA

Is the initiator and Executive Director of Entrepreneurial Development Initiative (ENDIP). He holds a Bachelor of Business Education (Accounting) from the University of Calabar and is currently studying for an M Sc in Social Work & Community Development in the Rivers State University of Science & Technology, Port Harcourt.

Mr. Ovio-Onoweya has over fourteen years cognate experience in youth development programmes in Nigeria, Africa and European countries. A professional management development trainer certified by the JCI Training Institute, USA, his experience revolves around leadership, talent development, and capacity building/training for enterprise management and conflict resolution/transformation.

He is a prolific writer and commentator on national issues and has acquired practical skills in the dynamics and functionality of entrepreneurship development. He is a consultant to Shell Petroleum Development Company Ltd. (SPDC), Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and a member of the Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria and Nigerian Institute of Training & Development.

 

MRS LILIAN BEN-OVIO

Is the Project Director/Grant Compliance Officer. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Linguistics from the University of Calabar and is currently studying for an M Sc. in Social Work & Community Development in the Rivers State University of Science & Technology, Port Harcourt.

For over five years, Mrs. Ben-Ovio has been actively involved in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programmes for disadvantaged and less-privileged girls in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria. She is currently responsible for co-ordinating the provision of Survival Skills to vulnerable girls in Port Harcourt metropolis. This is in realization of her commitment to restoring the dignity of womanhood. Lilian Ben-Ovio’s pragmatic disposition to assignments has earned her a reputation for effective community development.


MS. ROSEMARY EGEDEGBE

Is the Programme Associate (Micro/Small Enterprise Development) and is in charge of the ENDIP Micro Credit Scheme. She holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Calabar.

A development worker with skills in Participatory Rural Appraisal Design & Utilization, she has considerable experience in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria haven participated in various rural development initiatives.

MR. CHUKWUKA AMAH

Is undergoing the One Year compulsory National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC) as a Trainee Programme Associate in charge of Information Management.

He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mass Communication from the Federal Polytechnic, Oko.

MR. WAIKUMO SYDNEY APPAH

Mr. Appah holds a Diploma in Computer Education. He is an Instructor and is responsible for providing training on various software applications to over 50 young women.
